Our hard work to get a Medicaid Waiver approved for our state has paid off. Also there is a potential that the Winter Olympics may be hosted by Utah again. Have a wonderful holiday season!
I met with General Burton of the Utah National Guard and did a flight on a Blackhawk Helicopter to learn about the capabilities and readiness of the National Guard.

Americans for Prosperity, a grassroots organization within the state that advocates for economic freedom, tracked the votes of the legislature to develop a scorecard of individual legislators and their dedication to economic freedom in Utah. I received the Defender of Economic Freedom Award for voting for less government regulation and not voting for tax increases. It was a great honor for me.
