Keeping West Jordan and Taylorsville Moving

My wife and I have lived on the West Side for 45 years. We have seen this community grow with new neighbors, businesses, and families that have helped make this community great. This new growth has brought additional traffic and congestion.

WITH BETTER TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS COMES BETTER AIR QUALITY. I AM PROUD TO BE ENDORSED BY O2, A CLEAN AIR ADVOCACY ORGANIZATION.

Historically, the West Side’s infrastructure and transportation needs have been neglected and not fully planned. One of the reasons I originally chose to run for office was to be a voice for my neighbors to ensure we grew responsibly by maintaining and improving our roads and expanding public transportation.

Over the last two years, I have fought hard to secure funding for Taylorsville and West Jordan to build interchanges on Bangerter Highway, improve bottlenecks on 1300 West, 4700 South and I-215 (being planned), reduce travel times, increase safety, and improve air quality.

I will continue to work hard for West Jordan and Taylorsville. Each West Side city is interconnected through more than just our common values but our transportation infrastructure. It is imperative that we continue to maintain our roads and work together to grow responsibly.

I am always here to listen to your traffic and infrastructure concerns. Please feel free to reach out to me at 801.840.1800 or email me at ElectDunnigan@gmail.com.
