With only two weeks left of the session, the budget is being finalized, the biggest pieces of legislation are being debated, and the days are getting longer. Here’s a glance at Rep. Dunnigan’s crazy week.
Monday
On the American Cancer Society Day at the Capitol, Rep. Dunnigan had the opportunity to meet with with those advocating for cancer to become a state and national priority.
Tuesday
With 14 years under his belt, it’s clear Rep. Dunnigan thoroughly enjoys his service at the Capitol.
Wednesday
Rep. Dunnigan’s only staff are on full-time college intern and a few part-time high school interns from Skyline. He is always grateful for their help.
Thursday
On Thursday evening, Rep. Dunnigan hosted two meetings at the Taylorsville City Hall. First, he had a meeting with Granite School District teachers and administrators. Then, he had town hall meeting to better understand the views of his constituents and answer their questions.
Friday
Rep. Dunnigan sat down with this cute 8-year-old girl to answer her questions regarding his role in government. She had lots of good questions!
