I met with three international visitors from Kosovo this week. These visitors traveled to the United States to examine and learn from how the U.S. carries out investigations regarding judicial and prosecutorial misconduct. Their visit was orchestrated under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. The Kosovo visitors were accompanied by an international visitor liaison from the United States Department of State.
These visitors meet specifically with me to learn about how House Special Investigative Committee was formed, its role in investigations, and the need to cooperate across political party lines to ensure fair government practices and ethical behavior.
