The month of May has been a good one for me. In addition to planning for the upcoming Taylorsville Dayzz event in June as the event chair, I have been busy with the following various activities.
On May 16th, I gave a presentation to the Utah Taxpayers Association on the Medicaid bill I sponsored and passed this past legislative session. To read the bill click here.
I also had the opportunity to participate in presenting scholarship awards from Comcast to a couple of constituents on May 18th. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
On May 19th, I held a town hall meeting to specifically discuss education issues. It was a great forum for hear from educators and others about their ideas and concerns.
